Cove Bar

This is somewhat an extension of my Valentine/Disneyland California post. As I said in that post, we ate a lot and the food was really good so I touched on it a bit in that post but I wanted to do one of it on it's own. So here we are.

So we got to the park and essentially went straight to the Cove Bar and there was a line so we got in and I want to say we waited for about 30 minutes, maybe. I know that sounds like a long time but honestly it went by fairly quickly, I definitely didn't feel like we were out there for more than 10-15 minutes. So we waited, Josh and I caught up and were just gossiping, probably why the time went by so fast, and then they took us to a table and we sat down and aside from drinks, we already knew we were getting the lobster nachos so that also helped speed up the process of getting our food. So we ordered the lobster nachos and I ordered a Pina Colava (essentially a pina colada but with raspberry puree). We continued to talk for maybe another 15-20 minutes and then the food came.

Omg it was sooo good. Now this was the first time I had Lobster, and Josh had me try a nacho with some on it and it was fine I didn't really taste it but just the thought of eating lobster for whatever reason was freaking me out so I essentially ate around the lobster. And omg, again, those nachos were so good! They were crispy but soft and were covered in cheese and the jalapenos on those things were so raw and spicy, but good. The drink, also amazing. I like my drinks sweet, so I don't taste the alcohol, and that's exactly what that was. The little raspberries on top were also good, they were the perfect texture, not too squishy or anything.

The lobster nachos are a very popular item and after trying them, I understand perfectly why and they're big so Josh and I shared. We were both pretty full afterwards but we weren't stuffed which is nice at a place like Disney because there are so many snacks and foods you want to try that eating something somewhat smaller like that, allows you to be able to try all those other foods you want to try. So the next time you're at Disneyland California, go to Cove Bar and try the nachos!

I hope you enjoyed. I know I did.

Love,

Bee
