Rainforest Weekly Kit

For March, I knew I wanted to stick to the greens and gold and do something for Easter but I didn't want to over do it, just because I personally didn't want every week to be green and gold aka St Patrick's themed. So I went on the search and got a St Patrick's themed weekly kit and an Easter kit but obviously I still had one week in March and I searched and searched and didn't see anything green but cute, everything was just the plan green kits. But then Planning Roses released a Rainforest Weekly Kit which was super cute and had green but in a way that I really enjoyed. So I ordered the kit and thought it would be perfect for when Spring starts or for the week of my Spring Break. I did realize afterwards that Spring stars the week of St Patrick's Day and my Spring Break is the week of Easter (for me) so I decided to do it the second week of March when Daylight Savings occurs, because it has something to do with Spring lol.

The kit cost $11.13 for a total of 4 pages. Jenna has newly become obsessed with ombre heart checklists so when the kit originally came out, it just came with heart checklists. She did come out with add on mbre heart checklists afterwards if you wanted, but I will be honest, I forgot to order them lol. So the kit came with 8 full boxes, washi stickers, bottom washi, 8 appointment box things, 28 headers (To Do, Today, Odds & Ends, and Random) two flags, two teardrops, heart checklists, little icons, 8 half boxes, thinner bottom washi, a weekend banner and a few little things.

I have used one other Planning Roses kit so I kind of knew what I was in for but not exactly because the previous kit I got had more in it. So as I was planning I kind of wished this kit came with a hydrate sticker and a weekly habit sticker (to track my spending) like the Birthday kit I bought from her a while back but it's okay because I have my own hydrate stickers and I figured something out for the spending. But aside from that, I found myself really trying to use up a good amount of stickers (to really help decorate and keep me a little less stressed during my final week of classes for the quarter). And after everything I did, I still had a fairly good amount of stickers left.

So the majority, aka the kit, was from Planning Roses. The hydrate stickers and little piggy bank sticker are from Stickeriffic. The pay day flag is from PlannerGlitz.com. The Spent header and two orange heart checklists are from Basic Planning. And the little pencil and stamp thing, that I used to denote my "Planning day" are from the sampler I got from Planning Roses. I don't know how well you will notice, but I used some of the littles but cut them up just because I prefer that look. So the little tan strips, the little package and the tiny little tan laundry basket were littles that I cut up lol. Everything else is from the kit and I still had washi stickers leftover, littles. I do wish I had gotten a few more heart checklists just because I wanted to do a next week's section but had nothing to make a list with so I added another full box to the side bar. I still had one half box left and icons and a few things. But I do know that I do more of a white space planning, simply because to me, no white space sometimes looks a little too busy. So I don't mind the white space but you can definitely do a no white space planning with her kits, especially if you add on the ombre heart boxes.

I really love this kit, it's very fun and cute and I hope you like it too! Next week's spread will be St Patrick's themed so hopefully that comes out really nice. I hope you enjoyed.

Love,

Bee
