On my way home for spring break, headed back down south, my friend and I decided to go to Castroville first and then head home from there. My friend's intention of stopping was to get fresh artichokes because Castroville is known for growing an immense amount of artichokes. I just wanted to see what was there. So we google map to Castroville but after a bit she realizes she knows where she is going so I end Google maps and as we are on the highway/freeway, we stop at the very first fruit stand that comes up, right next to a Mexican restaurant called The Whole Enchilada (which I thought was funny lol). I instantly fall in love. The signs up around the area were promoting 5 for $1 avocados and like 3 for something artichokes. I immediately love how quaint and local and small but cute everything is and I am loving the prices. So we go into the little shack and I see enormous strawberries, organic honey, freshly made guacamole, salsa, and chips. Honestly everything was so nice and so cheap!

My friend and I really hope to go again soon and I will definitely post more about it if we go again. If you have the chance or can go, I highly recommend it. There were all kinds of things being sold and really good prices and not only thought but small little restaurants that you know aren't popular but are GOOD! It sounds silly to say but it also had a lot of opportunity for some cute pictures.

I hope you enjoyed this short post. And please go soon.

Love,

Bee
