Paint the Night

I know Disneyland is hectic as a whole but have any of you ever tried to peacefully just watch a parade? Those are the worst in my opinion. Or even worse, when you're not trying to watch the parade and trying to get from one side of the park to the other, that's a nightmare. But on to this post lol. Paint the Night is a night parade at Disneyland and it's got a lot of cool light things going on.
As it is called "Paint the Night" you can kind of guess what the parade is like. They are a bunch of floats and characters dressed up in brightly neon lit clothing and lights on the floats. It looks really nice because the park does get pretty dark so the lights are very bright and glowy.
The characters that come through are some of my favorites like Finding Nemo, they have some of the princesses obviously, Mickey and Minnie are the closers and just multiple characters throughout like Cars.
Singing the songs are honestly some of my favorite lol. Sometimes Josh gets a little annoyed and embarrassed by my singing but it's okay, he deals with it.
But I get really into it. Sadly, like I said in the beginning, getting a good spot to stand in is kind of hard but I am a pro at like crowd surfing. So I always manage to get pretty close which to be fair is needed, as I stand slightly under 5'3" and people tend to put their kids on their shoulders, I can't see otherwise! I would just suggest getting there kind of early if you want a good spot. Also, I know we're on a mission during this time but let's not forget our manners like saying excuse me, sorry and thank you.
This post is kind of short but I just thought since the semester is ending soon and summer is coming up some of you might be going to Disneyland and would like to know, yes, it is worth watching the parade. I suggest it anyways. Just, if you're worried about getting in and out of there, leave a few minutes before the end, if you don't mind missing that, and start walking towards wherever you wish to go. This way you kind of beat the crowd.
And take pictures! They don't really do the parade any justice but still, it will be cool to have. I took a few live photos but sadly they won't show up as live on here *sad face*.

I hope you enjoyed! See you next time.
Love,
Bee
