Beach Day Week

A little while back, FancyStickerPrints posted that they were having a sale because they wanted to get rid of the current inventory so they could close the shop for a bit while they reformatted their kits and then relaunched. I bought this kit for $5 during the sale and I had never ordered from here before so I wan't sure what to expect but it was too good of a deal. So the kit comes with seashell ombre heart boxes, a sheet with half boxes, tear drops and a weekend banner, a sheet with headers and little things, another sheet with bottom washi, teardrops and a semi-weekly box, the full boxes and then the same full boxes but shadowed out. I didn't pay attention but it seems the headers, which I realized once I had them in person, they come with 4 rows, To Do, Today, Night and Work but the Work headers for whatever reason, aren't centered. This kind of irritated me but I just used the other three headers and all was okay.

So during the week, I did something a little different this time, because of the way the kit was structured and the headers, I did the best I could. So Monday through Friday: To Do headers, shadow full boxes, Today headers, seashell ombre boxes, Night headers little things and teardrops, bottom washi. So the To Do section this week will be where I write down what I ate and if I worked out. Today section will be my official to do list of the day. Night is my homework, I was going to use the Work header but because of the offcenteredness, I used the night instead and put down half boxes where I will write down my homework and readings. I did something different with the bottom washi as well, I wanted to get it as close as I could to the half boxes so it wouldn't look as empty in that bottom area so what I did was line it up so the bottom touched the last line in that bottom section. With that done the bottom washi went a little bit into the last section, which was my intention. But still it looked a little too empty so I started to add a few littles, for my shows and then went ahead and added teadrops to mark the blog posts I would be doing this week.

Now for Saturday and Sunday, again I did things just a wee bit different. Here we go: To Do headers, shadow full boxes, weekend banner, Today headers, seashell ombre boxes, Night headers, half boxes, little things and teardrop. I wanted this week to be a little more cohesive so that I covered up a good amount of space so I somewhat followed the during the week layout. I put down my full boxes, add the weekend banner and left space to still put down the a major event of that day. I have my to do list, which usually doesn't get filled out on weekends. Lastly I had the night section, and on the weekend, this would be where I would write down what I ate and did. I then also added my little things for my shows, teardrop for the blog and I did the same thing with the washi on this side.

For the sidebar, it was a little difficult but I will simply figure it out. It was: Full box, little thing, semi-weekly box, little thing, seashell ombre box, half box, full box. The one full box I intentionally saved so it wasn't in the week was the vacation full box, I just thought it was the cutest and would look the best. I then used my little things as headers. For the weekly box I will be writing down what I spent and then somehow adding Saturday and Sunday to the list. I then used another little thing, again as a header, and will probably be doing a weekly to do list there. The half box was mainly to take up space lol but maybe I will write a inspirational quote or something in there. And then lastly one final full box, the coconut.

Again, the way I did this spread was different than what I normally do but I still really like how it came out. I did the best I could with what was given and if I say so myself, it looks pretty dam cute. This month might be a little bit of a mess with the spreads, there won't really be a theme besides like vacation/fun. I say this because this month is Josh's birthday and I obviously want to do a cute spread for his birthday but that week we're also supposed to go to Vegas to celebrate which would be the week of. So what I have planned right now kit wise is a vegas kit, the fourth of july kit (this will for sure be used), glam planner's June mystery kit and a little hawaiian kit that will be a combo of two kits. I have no idea when exactly I will use what but I am sure it will all come together. I do have other kits though so I don't know if I will be sticking to these because I had also bought a bee kit to use but now I don't want to. But don't worry, I will be posting my spreads regardless.

But I hope you all enjoyed this week's spread, it was something different and hopefully this shows you that you don't have to plan one specific way just because someone else does. I am excited to finally write on the kit now lol. See y'all Thursday!

Love,

Bee
