The Bagelry

This is a place that specializes in bagels, have you ever heard of this? Because I hadn't lol. Andrea and I wanted to try this place out for a while because she has like this passion for bagels and I love bagel breakfast sandwich so we randomly went one day after grabbing some Starbucks.

Now as soon as we walked in, the set up of the place was a little different than what we expected but not a problem. We walked up to the ordering section and we skim over the menu and both just look at each other. There are very few breakfast sandwich or any sandwich options which for whatever reason we were both under the impression that there would be like a lot of sandwich options which caught us off guard.

But we go over the menu and I decide to get the Luna bagel which has ricotta and pesto with toasted almonds. And then because I wanted to add a little dimension and because it was in the morning and this was going to be my breakfast, I decided to add some bacon, yum. So we order, I want to say we waited maybe like 10 minutes and then we sat down. And we took a bite!

Now for my bagel, it was good! Regardless how my expectations and how they were a bit crushed when I first walked in, I will say, my bagel was still so good! The pesto was nice and creamy and kind of thick but a good thick. And the bacon was nice and crispy just how I like it. And the bagel, it wasn't a sandwich as you will see, it was two open faced sandwiches which I guess I could've turned into one big sandwich but I didn't. But I felt like I was eating two sandwiches and I ended up so full after this.

I think I would go back to this place, now the only reason I say I think is because while it was good, I really haven't sat here since then and really craved it or even thought about it. So do I recommend you try out this place? Yes, it is good and even if you go as a one time thing like I probably will, it is worth going and checking out.

Sorry this wasn't one of my super excited, super promoting type of food post but this happens some times. The food was good and I enjoyed it but for some reason it didn't stick with me to where I sat there thinking I can't wait to come back. But still, I will say again, I would still recommend you go at least once because I do think it's worth giving it a shot plus, for me anyways, this whole bagel empire was a completely new experience to me. But that is it for now, I will see you on Saturday!
