Boba Love
I love boba, I know my friends love boba and it's very big for us, we love just running out, grabbing some boba and then just chilling and talking. But there are still so many people that don't know about boba or have never tried it. And sometimes, like my friends and I, we tend to go only to one place for boba and never really explore. But this summer I have decided to try all these cool places I see on Instagram and branch out. So here are some of my boba adventures so far.
Quickly, this place is a branch and this is normally where my friends and I go. Josh takes me to the one in Arcadia and the milk tea (which is what we like to get) is like under $2.00, super cheap. And the boba is always good, the drink is always good. I never personally think it's too sweet or too bitter. I will say though, I wish I could get an endless amount in my cup lol. I know prices vary from one quickly to another but again it is a chain so it might be closer to you than either of the other places I list.

Boba Bear, this place offers some cute little mason jar cup mug things for $2 more, so of course I had to buy it lol. But at this place I ordered the almond milk tea (because this is one of my own personal favorites) which was $3.50 plus the $2.00 mason jar and on top of that they charge you $0.50 for boba. So in total this drink came out to $6.00 which is obviously more than quickly but I did get a mason jar! Not just that but the drink itself, omg amazing! I honestly couldn't get enough, I finished it so quickly. I definitely recommend this place, it's in El Monte but I will warn you, before you just unknowingly show up, it is also a hookah lounge. I went during the afternoon like at 6 so there were only two people in the store, they both were smoking, but I'm sure it's crazier at night. They also had really cute like drawings up on the walls that I will surely include.

Lastly, but not least, the craziest, Zero Degrees. This place is in the City of Industry. This place was definitely the most expensive but was the cutest of them all? lol. Well my drink came out to the same price as boba bear but my sister's drink without any boba was more. So I will say this one can get "expensive" but at this place we also bought reusable bottles so that plays a big role in price obviously. So I ordered the matchata which is a mix of matcha green tea and horchata. I obviously, the second the girl told me this, I just needed to try it. So this drink was $4.00 + $0.50 for boba + reusable like milk bottle for $1.50. In total this drink was also $6.00. My sister ordered the spicy watermelon + the reusable bottle and her total was $6.50. But back to my drink, it was good, I really enjoyed it, the boba was good as well, however I will say that the drink didn't really taste like either matcha or horchata, it was more of a cinnamon taste. Which obviously if you don't like cinnamon you probably shouldn't drink horchata to begin lol but still I didn't expect such a strong cinnamon flavor. And it wasn't harsh in anyway, I still very much enjoyed the drink and would go back for another but I am warning, if you don't like cinnamon, this drink probably isn't your type. And also, this place is famous for their wing wall inside the store. So obviously I took a picture with my drink there.

I hope you like this post and I hope to write about more boba places soon because I am craving some so badly right now lol. See you on Saturday!
Love,
Bee
