Boba Love 2

Quick post about 3 other boba places Cruz and I went to and here is my honest review on these places.

First, Macchiato, the place that has caught a lot of attention because of the way they serve the boba. They serve them in these adorable plant/pot cups with a little bit of crumbled "dirt" (oreos) and a little plant barely coming to. The way these look from the top remind me of the little plant from Wall-E lol, that's all I thought when I first heard about this place and even now after having had it. It is located in Monterey park in a sort of strip mall, which was a little off putting because it definitely wasn't the cutest looking strip mall or in the cutest location but that's fine. I believe I ordered the potted plant milk tea with boba. Customer service was honestly lacking, it kind of took a while to get served but once we finished it also took FOREVER for someone to not only pick up our plates but to bring us the check. We both got food, I didn't get a picture of the food thought because my phone was dumb and died which really sucked but hey. The good was pretty good, I will say that. And now, for the boba and the drink, honestly so good. It was really really good, which sucks that the service wasn't the best because that makes it a little off putting to go again. The location is also nowhere near anything I know of so it's also kind of out of the way. But maybe I would go back and get a drink to go. All in all, I would definitely recommend you at least go and try it once. Because it was good and they're really cute to take pictures of lol.

Second, Snow Monster. I actually went to this place by myself, well kind of. I went to not the most popular location, which I still wish to go to. I went to Snow Monster in Long Beach. This one has a very convenient location but it's almost hidden lol. I only saw it by chance once we were leaving and I demanded everyone wait for me and I ran in, ordered my drink, got the jar and then took pictures while i waited for my order. I got the milk green tea with like strawberry jelly and boba topped off with the cotton candy on top all topped off with fruity pebbles. First off, this one location has less, or had less when I went, than what I am assuming the main store has. The main store has those light bulb cups that I want so bad and I don't believe they had milk tea which is usually my go to. But the shop was cute, clean and just very basic but looked good. The drink was good but it was definitely a lot. They are known for the cotton candy on top which is why I tried it, but I would not normally try this and I will not ever get this. Haha it was honestly so much, sugar wise but also like the cotton candy and the drink were a lot as in I got so full from just the cotton candy. The drink itself was pretty good but the little jellies were also too much, I asked the person who took my order what it is I should order and that is what was recommended but again, I wouldn't have ordered that myself. Again I recommend you try Snow Monster but unless you are a 5 year old lol don't get the cotton candy or any of the super crazy drinks.

Third and last one, Boba Tea Lounge. Now that I think about it all these places were like outrageous lol. So Boba Tea Lounge is also known for mixing like cereals into their boba/milkshakes. I got Trix in mine and again, it was a little much. I really couldn't even finish it. Like it was seriously too much. If you really enjoy sugar and cereal and trying new things then go for it. But otherwise, I say this one is not a must, sorry.

I hope you enjoyed this boba review lol I will talk to y'all on Thursday.

Love,

Bee
