DCon
Hi loves, sorry about not posting on Thursday but I really felt like I had nothing to post :/. But it's fine, I got something this weekend lol. I somewhat unexpectedly went home, it's only a little excessive because I don't get the whole week of Thanksgiving so I went home, came back to school and I am going back home on Wednesday but I miss home so it's fine. But when I told Josh that I was going home he got excited and insisted I go to DesignerCon with him like I did a few years back. And of course I said yes.
We only went on Saturday and we got to the convention center at around 10 am. Josh knew he wanted to go to the Paul Frank booth first so we got our badges and found out where he was and then we headed over. We were honestly some of the first people there I am pretty sure, even though Josh swore his stuff was going to be sold out already lol. We went to the booth, Josh got the items he wanted, we stood in line to have Paul Frank sign some of the things and chat a bit and then there was a raffle (which we didn't win). And there was like a little photo op with Dazzle the unicorn and some little props. We took a picture and we just spend a good amount of time at this booth which was fine, he had a lot of cute things.
After Paul Frank we spent the next about 3.5 hours walking around and seeing what every single booth had to offer. From people Josh knew and loved to others that had super cool items and then some that really didn't appeal to either of us but is okay. It was such a unique experience and you see really cool items, really silly items, items you would never think and then there were some basic items like a lot of people had pins. That's all that I got for myself, just a bunch of different little pins.
I feel like this experience is a little hard to write about because nothing significant happened but it was still a really fun experience. I would never go if Josh hadn't ever invited me or told me about DCon but honestly if you get a chance to go, with at least one other friend who would enjoy it as well, I would definitely suggest you going. Passes are relatively cheap, you'll see a bunch of stores and shops and designers that you might love and never would've heard about otherwise. It's a good way to branch out there more and a lot of the artists have exclusive items released at DesignerCon so you could end up with some limited edition item.

Again, I had tons of fun. I can't wait to do this again next year with Josh. And maybe I will run into some of you lovelies there? You never know. I hope you enjoyed and I will see you Thursday.
Love,
Bee
